What our client wanted

To create a new date in the National and sporting calendar by staging a Premiership match at Twickenham Stadium to celebrate St. George’s Day, raise money for Help For Heroes and widen London Wasps’ casual supporter base.

What we did

Outdoor, PR & Press Advertising, website and digital affinity partnerships, mobile Bluetooth marketing, bus sides, experiential, viral video production and seeding, radio, social networking management, media partnerships, match day event management and sales promotion.

What we achieved

60,208 people attended the inaugural St. George’s Day game – a 500% increase on Wasps’ normal match day attendance.
