THE FA: CLARE BALDING, HOWARD WEBB & ANDRE GRAY

An impressive line-up of sports personalities support England Lionesses’ and Non-League Finals Day.

Clare Balding, award-winning broadcaster, journalist and author showed her support and encouragement for women’s football whilst inspiring young girls to take up the sport and promoting England v Belgium a UEFA Qualifying fixture. Clare also actively includes information on the upcoming England Women’s matches in her fortnightly column in the Waitrose Weekend.

Howard Webb, awarded all-time top referee by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics, refereeing a number of notable matches in England, also took to the camera as he filmed a clip off his own back at Rotherham Stadium. His love for Rotherham and football resulted in a very encouraging and genuine support message for the Lionesses and pushed through social channels.

Andre Gray, English professional footballer, striker for Premier League club Burnley was keen to spread awareness of the Non-League Finals Day to his large Twitter following.
